Buzzy replied, “That would be mighty fine. You know it isn’t just the king and queen that are hiding. All the good magic is hiding. Santa, Easter Bunny and even Uncle Sam is keeping a low profile from what I hear on the grapevine.” “Cupid is doing just fine though?” Dan asked, already knowing the answer. “You know nobody messes with Cupid.” Buzzy said, then he started singing, “Cuz everybody … loves somebody …. sometimes.” “Knock it off!” Dan said, cutting him off. “You know that stuff gets old fast. You should know better than anybody.” “And just what do you mean by that?” Buzzy asked, looking a little confused, a little angry. “Well if there is anybody who is going to have trouble finding a mate; its gonna be you.” Dan replied, still confident in his view point. “l will have you know!” Buzzy started out loud and then finished in a much quieter tone, “As buzzards go, I’m quite attractive.” “You should also know!” Dan said loudly, mimicking his friend. He finished in a quieter tone also. “That the things you eat smell really bad. Thus by proxy, so do you.” “Oh I see how it is! Curse the sky for being blue. Water for being wet! Air for being breathable!” Buzzy cried, looking very offended. “There, right there! You are getting close when you mentioned breathable air. My point is … the air ain’t breathable around you!” Dan exclaimed. “Just forget it. We need to find the princess and tell her of our news about where her parents are hiding.” Buzzy was still mumbling to himself, “Not like I promised you a rose garden. Well that means I didn’t promise to smell like one either. Guy has a lot of nerve to call another guy out about his eating habits. Dang bug eater anyway!” Buzzy looked around and realized suddenly that he was alone. Buzzy started running and took off into the air.
