| The light came closer and Anna could see it was a lantern which was draped to the side of the most amazing and most beautiful creature she had ever seen. It was a miniature horse. Sporting a very unusual blue color with a white mane. It also had a white tail and white socks on all four feet. The light from the lantern reflected in the pony’s gentle eyes. There was something else amazing about the little horse that just wouldn’t let her take her eyes off it. A beautiful creature that had such a cute little face with a soft round nose and the most adorable big dark eyes accompanied by very long eyelashes. At the moment it appeared very tired. Anna couldn’t ignore the other thing. He was too bizarre to pretend he wasn’t there. A short man with red hair wearing a green suit and hat to match. He sat atop the miniature blue colored horse. He had a very tired look about him. When he spoke it became apparent there was more than just exhaustion involved. The little man was injured. Perhaps quite badly. Anna walked closer to the miniature horse with the little man sitting on it. She held out her hand to the horse’s soft little nose and allowed it to nuzzle her palm. It tickled her skin feeling the little horse scrunching up its nose. Anna giggled. She hadn’t laughed in what seemed like forever. next page |  |
