| A crow flew up to the big osprey. “Sir!” The crow saluted the osprey. “Enemy air force is two minutes out. All paper trails connecting us with the Castle of Candi have been destroyed or are burning. Awaiting further orders sir!” Ozzy Osprey leaned forward and said two words. “Bug Out!” Suddenly a huge number of birds took off into the sky casting a dark shadow across the ground. There was squawking and bird feathers flew everywhere. Just as Ozzy was about to take off Anna grabbed his wing and kept him grounded. “Wait! I think you are talking about my castle! About my parents! King and Queen of Castle Candi. I very much need to find them. Please sir! Help me!” The sky once again emptied allowing the sunlight to shine down on Anna when she was talking to Ozzy. When the many birds had flown off in all directions Ozzy stopped trying to take off and looked at Anna. “There’s no time now! The Geese Police are nearly here!” Ozzy looked back over Anna’s shoulder and could see the snow geese flying in their direction. They made a perfect V-shape as the leader flew directly toward where Anna and Ozzy stood. Once again the sky began to darken only this time is was because there were so many Geese Police. “No time now!” Ozzy shouted. “Meet me back here in two days!” Then Ozzy pulled away from Anna and with the loss of a couple of feathers the big osprey was up into the air and gone. Anna turned her attention to Splash who was once again the size she could climb on. Having done so the blue horse with the white mane and tail and feet, took off into the air climbing up past the shadow the incoming Geese Police were casting. Anna held on tight while Splash went further and further up. When they were far above the Geese Police, Splash stopped for a moment so they could watch what happened. next page |  Geese Police |
