Splash gave a whinny and circled around the sky. Anna watched a few seconds longer and then gave the bridle a tug and Splash flew them away from there. They soared across the blue sky until they came upon a little village which was having some sort of celebration. They could see tables of food and people were going this way and that. Splash turned and looked at Anna. She smiled and nodded yes. Splash zoomed them down to a soft landing just off from where the main gathering of people stood. “I’m so very hungry!” Anna said to Splash and she took off skipping toward the food and people. Music was playing and people danced in the street while others were either eating or handing out food. Anna was given a plate full of delicious things. She kept looking around until she found a table full of apples and other types of fruit. She gathered some of them and then retreated back to share her bounty with Splash. “Oh Splash we are so lucky to have found this celebration. Don’t worry I have not forgotten we need to do a good deed before the day ends. I’m keeping my eye out. In the meantime though lets enjoy this food!” Anna said, handing an apple to Splash. Splash had once again returned to his miniature size. That gave Anna an idea. Everyone else at the celebration had brought food or was doing something to contribute. Anna thought they could too. She excused herself from Splash and was gone for several minutes. When she returned she had a piece of wood that had been painted white. She produced a piece of charred wood taken from an old campfire someone had once made. Then she began to write. When finished writing she held up the sign so Splash could see it. The sign simply read: Free Pony Rides. Splash shook his head yes in agreement. They walked up to where they were having a musical chairs event and found a place to hang their sign. In no time at all there was a line formed and Anna was leading Splash around in a circle while the kids took turns riding. Many comments were made about having never seen such a beautiful pony.
