| The place where they had met two days prior was now a scene from a serial bird killer’s mind. There were bird feathers strung about everywhere. Remnants of the buffet stunk up the place. Dead fish and pieces of dead fish were rampant. Flies buzzed here and there. “Good morning Ozzy.” Anna said to the big Osprey. “Shall we fly a mile or so on over so we don’t have to deal with these flies and the stench of the dead fish?” “Couldn’t agree more.” Ozzy replied. They all flew off with Splash and Anna leading the way. Splash found a spot that offered a great view in all directions. He landed gently followed by Ozzy, Buzzy and Dan. “I have good news and bad.” Ozzy said to Anna as she slid down off of Splash, who immediately shrunk back to the miniature horse of which he began. “Okay, well most people like the good news first.” Anna replied. “Either way, just shoot from the hip.” “Your parents are well as of twenty-four hours ago. The bad news is they had to move and so far there has not been any word as to where they ended up. You probably are aware the Geese Police are out in full force?” Ozzy asked. “Yes we have seen them several times in the last forty-eight hours.” Anna replied. “Any suggestions on what to do next?” “Lay low and be patient. Your father’s forces are awaiting reinforcements before they launch a counter-offensive. You must understand there is more involved here than just the attack of an enemy army. There is rumor the Dark Queen is involved. That she has partnered with the king of the attacking enemy army.
