The little man slid down off the miniature blue horse with the white mane, tail and feet. He handed the bridle to Anna. “I must leave this world to have my injury healed. Normally I would ride my trusty steed but it requires much more power for me to be able to get both of us over and right now I am not that strong. I may not have the strength to get myself over. But that will be my worry.” The little man in the green suit and hat turned to look back the way he had come. Then he turned back to Anna and said, “You need to escape the same army as is chasing me. Take my horse and do not be misled. Splash, will show you he is much more capable than anyone would guess. He should not be rode during the dark hours of the night because if you fall off he might not be able to see you in the dark. That would mean he might not be able to get himself back under you before your fall hits the ground. The same is true during take offs and landings. Hold on tight during those times because if you fall off he won’t be quick enough to catch you before you hit the ground. The good news about that is if you do fall, it won’t be so far to the ground that it will kill you. It’ll just hurt a lot. Are you with me so far?” The little man bent over and moaned but then straightened back up. next page | ![]() |
