Anna and the Pony 7

Across the skyline the two flew. Eventually the sun began to peer over the horizon. It spilled light across the land waking everyone up as it went. She was a princess flying across the blue sky. On a blue horse with a white mane, white tail and white socks on its feet. The wind made their hair dance behind them like tails on a kite. Then something caught Anna’s eye. It was a lady and her child. They were standing at the base of a tree looking up at something.

“Splash. let’s go see what the problem might be?” Anna said, giving the flying horse a nudge with her legs by squeezing them together a little harder. Splash zoomed them down to where they were just behind and above the woman and her child. They were unaware Anna and Splash were there. It only took a second for Anna to figure out the two were looking up at their cat which was way at the top of the tree.
“Don’t worry lady. I can get your cat down. Would that be your wish?” Anna asked, and when the woman and her child turned around the horse had landed. Anna sat atop it awaiting a reply.

“Oh hello. That is very kind of you to offer but the last thing I want is for a human being to get hurt trying to get a cat down. But thank you very much for offering.” The lady replied.

Anna nudged Splash again with her knees and the horse began climbing through the air up to where the cat was sitting. “It isn’t a risk for me.” Anna cried down to the cat’s owners. Next she reached over and grabbed the cat. Then she pulled it loose from the tree limb because it had its claws sunk into the wood. Avoiding getting herself or Splash scratched up from those claws, she held the cat gingerly while Splash gently returned the three of them to the ground. Anna slid down off the horse and handed the cat to the child.

“There you go little friend. You have a good day.”
