Ohpra represented the females of the world in this particular club. She had grown up with the other three and had turned out to be a tomato among potatoes. A watermelon among honeydews. A panda among grizzlies. Yes, the point is that she was someone you would not expect to see hanging out with the other three boys. The biggest obstacle of their relationship was that the boys recognized how far out of their league she was, and that she was getting further away all the time. Ohpra would have argued all that but the boys saw it the other way. When just the three of them were speaking about her they admitted they were surprised she was still coming to the summer camp. Many of the girls who had started coming to the summer camp back when the four friends started coming, had dropped out as the coming summers arrived. This was in fact the last year the four could come to the camp for vacation although they could sign up to become camp counselors which they would be eligible to volunteer until the age of eighteen. In fact after one year of volunteering the summers they would get paid minimum wage for any afterwards. Since they were there on the job they were paid for working twelve hour days so it added up after the summer was over.. next page |  |
