Wendigo, Dogman and Bigfoot Fishing Trip 12

“I’m in same boat as far as the flashlight goes. Hopefully at least one of them will work after we dry them out because we still have a lot of night left ahead of us. I’m more than a little worried that creature will find us again.” George answered.

“What the hell was that thing anyway?” Jess asked. “And what were those wolves? Never seen a wolf walking on two legs before.”

“I have.” George replied. “A long time ago. I saw a drawing showing exactly what we encountered. It was the Wendigo. The wolf-creatures were its lackeys.”

“What is a Wendigo?” Jess asked.

“At one time it was a man. A medicine man. Most likely a very powerful one. At some point he crossed the line. Made an unholy bond with the dark side and it resulted in him being turned into the Wendigo. A creature which dines on human flesh. It is cursed by the good side to forever know a hunger which cannot be quenched. It is always starving so it eats. However the act only increases its hunger because for everything it eats, it becomes bigger. The bigger it becomes the hungrier it results. It is a living hell for the creature. One it happily will take out on any victim it finds.”
